Weather data is collected using a AAG 1-Wire Weather Station and associated 1-Wire sensors. The wind direction, speed, barometric pressure, temperature, relative humidity, and precipitation instruments are located about 8 miles NNW of the Fairbanks International Airport at an elevation of 960 ft ASL. Click here for a view of the weather instruments . Weather data is displayed using Brian Hamilton's Weather Display and Julian Best's Weather Display Live software. Weather data in WAP is updated every 5 minutes.
How can there be such a difference between the temperatures shown for Fairbanks and for this site?
