Weather data is collected using Dallas/Maxim Semiconductor 1-Wire microlan sensors. The wind direction and speed, barometric pressure , temperature , relative humidity, and precipitation instruments are located about 8 miles NNW of the Fairbanks International Airport at an elevation of 960 ft ASL. Click here for a view of the weather instruments . Weather data is displayed using Brian Hamilton's Weather Display and Julian Best's Weather Display Live software.
How can there be such a difference between the temperatures shown for Fairbanks and for this site during the winter?
